In 2019, Pam Cavannagh and Dympna Jackson created Purple Productions, the pair have decades of TV experience in Factual, Factual Entertainment and Entertainment shows. Prior to Purple, Pam has decades of TV experience in both production and broadcast. In production specialising in Factual Entertainment and Entertainment shows. In broadcast, Pam was Channel Executive on BBC One and BBC Three for three years and before that a BBC Commissioner for eight years. Dympna has many years of credits as an Executive Producer on content spanning Entertainment, Factual and Children’s. Purple produce shows for all the main UK channels – Ch4, BBC, Ch5 and ITV plus SVoDs such as Paramount+.

Christina Anderton
Production Executive
Christina joined OMG in 2020 and is responsible for managing productions for Purple and OMG North.
Previously, Christina worked as a Freelance Production Manager across a variety of Entertainment, Factual and Factual Entertainment commissions.
Christina’s credits include: Lingo, Teen Mom UK, Big Brother, BAFTA Film and TV Awards, T4 on the Beach, Oasis Live from Wembley Arena and Pimp my Ride UK.

Nikki Pinkus
Head of Development
Nikki has over 20 years’ experience in the industry, both in production and development. She started her career at CBBC before working on reality series, including The Salon and Fame Academy. Nikki then moved into format creation and has since run successful development departments at Lucky Day Productions, Remedy Productions, Seven Studios UK and Beyond Productions UK, and has also held senior development positions at companies including Keo Films, BBC Studios and Talkback.
She has created/co-created several series, including ‘Show Me The Monet’ (BBC Two), ‘School of Silence’, ‘Vote for Me’ and ‘Driving Academy’ (CBBC), ‘Word Play‘ (Channel 5), ‘Love Shaft’ (E4), ‘Lorraine Kelly’s Penguin A&E’ (Channel 5), ‘Secret Location’ (Channel 4), ‘Pooch Perfect’ (BBC One, Channel Seven, ABC) and most recently, ‘Outrageous Homes with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen’ (Channel 4).

Naomi Gayler
Development Executive
Naomi is a specialist in access projects with two decades of experience delivering high-profile production and development for broadcasters and streamers. She began at Twenty Twenty on CBBC, before spending seven years at Optomen, rising from Researcher to Producer across prime-time series including Hairy Bikers: Meals on Wheels (BBC, BAFTA-nominated), Heston’s Feasts, The F Word and Gordon Behind Bars (Channel 4). She later produced Suicide and Me (BBC) and One Killer Punch (Channel 4), before discovering her love of access on the early series of 24 Hours in A and E at The Garden.
Since then, Naomi has led production on access-led factual series with major institutions, including the MOD, such as Royal Navy School (Channel 4), The Savoy (ITV), Squad Goals (BBC), Bangkok Airport (BBC) and Swiped: The School That Banned Smartphones (Channel 4, Innovation Award winner). Over the past five years she has held senior development roles at Shine, Twofour and Boldprint Studios, developing factual formats and documentaries for Netflix, BBC, ITV, branded content and Channel 4, including the latest series of Educating Yorkshire.

Matt Bridger
Production Manager
Matt joined OMG in 2020 as a Production Coordinator and has since worked on a variety of shows for OMG and Purple while working his way up to Production Manager.
With over 7 years of experience in the TV industry Matt has worked on a selection of series including: Motorway Cops (Channel 5), Lingo UK (ITV), Villages by the Sea (BBC), Britain's Most Beautiful Road (Channel 4), A Lake District Farm Shop (Channel 4), Heaven Made (BBC), The Women's Football World Cup in 2019 (BBC) and more.

Hayley Rivett
Production Manager
With over 15 years’ experience in the industry, Hayley has managed both factual entertainment series and single documentaries at the BBC and indies. She joined Purple Productions in 2021 as Production Manager on Motorway Cops.
Hayley’s credits include: Motorway Cops (Channel 5), Bargain Loving Brits By The Sea (Channel 5), Jason Manford’s Funniest Ever Adverts (Channel 5), Stacey Dooley’s Second Chance Sex Offenders (BBC1), Panorama: Knives in the Classroom (BBC1), The Death of Yousef Makki (Channel 4), Rip Off Britain: Live (BBC1), One Born Every Minute (Channel 4), Location, Location, Location (Channel 4)

Harry Ford
Development AP
Harry joined Purple in January 2026. He has been working in factual development since 2021, where he has developed a range of programmes for major broadcasters including: 24/7 Pet Hospital (BBC One), Joanna Page's Wild Life (BBC Two), How to Heat Your Home for Less This Winter (Channel 4), Sandi Toksvig's Hidden Wonders (More4), Rob Brydon's Honky Tonk Road Trip (BBC Two) and The 70s: Everything We Loved and Lost (Channel 5).
Before working in factual development, Harry script edited an episode of CBBC's The Dumping Ground and has an MA in Writing for Script & Screen from Falmouth University.

Sophie Ainsworth
Development Researcher
Sophie joined Purple in May 2024 as Label Assistant. She has since worked on When Anne Met Mark: The Wedding of the Decade, and Prince George: The Next Generation of Royals as a Researcher before moving into the development team.
Before working at Purple, Sophie was a freelance Researcher and Production Secretary. Her credits include Cunk on Life (BBC/Netflix), Better Off Dead (BBC), Project Icon (ITV) and Waco: Untold (ITV)

Sian Duggan
Label Assistant
Sian joined Purple in June 2025 as Label Assistant. She has since assisted with Casting, Location Scouting and Researching for Doorbell Detectives (BBC One) and worked on Lingo (ITV) as a Runner.
Before working at Purple, Sian was a freelance Producer, Production Co-ordinator and Production Assistant. Her credits include advertisements for Samsung, ON, Sanofi, ViiV Healthcare and Havas Lynx.
